If at least two-thirds of the total number of members of the Committee on Information and Communication of the Legislature-Parliament are present, a two-thirds majority of the meeting where it is decided that it is not appropriate to remain in office on the basis of lack of efficiency or bad conduct or non-observance of one's official duties is passed by the meeting of the Legislature-Parliament. Such Chief Information Commissioner or Information Commissioner shall be removed from office. But the Chief Information Commissioner or the Information Commissioner against whom such allegations are made shall not be deprived of the opportunity to present his explanation.
